The Rich Young Ruler and The Danger of Earthly Riches Part I

In this passage, a rich young ruler asks Jesus how to inherit eternal life. After ultimately being told to sell everything and follow Him if he wanted eternal life, the young ruler went away sad, unwilling to part with his riches.  In this first part of a two part sermon, Brother Tracey explores the interaction between Jesus and the rich young ruler, examining how and why Jesus responds to the young man’s request as He does.
