Reasons for Singleness

In the church today, much focus and instruction is given in the area of marriage and the benefits of marriage. As a result, instruction in singleness and the validity of singleness for the Christian is often neglected, leaving the single Christian sometimes feeling like they are somehow lesser. Because of that, this passage in the 7th chapter of 1st Corinthians is very valuable. In this passage, the apostle Paul gives many reasons as to why singleness is a good option for the believer.
