Paul’s Denial of his Rights Part 1: Supporting the Minister

In chapter 9 Paul uses his own life as an illustration of how to let love be the motivating factor for how to live out your freedom in Christ. But before he gets to the application in the last half of the chapter, he begins by laying out his right to be financially supported by those to whom he ministers. In this sermon, brother Tracey looks at the reasons for the minister’s right to be financially supported by the people he ministers to, as well as the right of the minister to deny that support as Paul exemplifies with his own life.
