Let Love Guide Your Liberty

Christian Liberty and matters of conscience are common to the Christian walk. Because the Bible does not speak directly and specifically to many situations that we will face in life, some areas become gray. They are not as black and white as we would like. When we have these issues (matters of conscience), we often find that sincere Christians can come to different conclusions. In Corinth, an issue like this arose in the area of meat sacrificed to idols. Because some thought it was wrong to eat meat sacrificed to idols and some thought it was perfectly find to do so, they asked Paul who and what was right in this area. In Paul’s answer to the Corinthians, we are given a valuable guiding principle which we should use anytime we are faced with one of these gray areas or matters of conscience. In this sermon, Brother Tracey looks at this principle and how we should apply it to our lives.
