Joy Over Christ Part 2

In this passage, Mary, after receiving God’s promise from Gabriel that she would conceive and give birth to the Messiah, goes and visits Elizabeth who was barren but is now in her old age also conceived a son because of God’s miraculous work in her. As these two women come together the scene is one of joy and proclamation of blessing because of the coming of Christ. in this second part of a two part sermon, brother Tracey looks at the result of joy as well as three reasons for joy that Mary reveals in her Magnificat.
